Passover foods recipes - Chocolate and Nuts Tart

Materials

Preparations

100 gram - crushed pecans
100 gram - cooking chocolate
6 Eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 spoon of vanilla essence
2 spoons of wine
3 stuffed spoons of Matzah flour
1 small Bag of sweet cream
2 spoons of sugar powder

  1. Beat the egg whites and add sugar gradually (until it is sticky).
  2. Mix the egg yellows, the vanilla essence and the wine together and add them gently to the mixture.
  3. Mix the crushed pecans with the cooking chocolate and matzah flour. Add this mix to the main mixture.
  4. Bake it in the oven with medium heat.
  5. Take the cake out of the oven. Let it cool down.
  6. Beat the sweet cream and add sugar powder.
  7. Spread it on the cake and put the cake in the refrigerator.

 

Passover foods recipes - Coconut cookies

Materials

Preparations

6 proteins (white of the eggs)
150 gram Sugar
200 gram Coconut

  1. Beat the egg whites and add sugar gradually (until it is sticky).
  2. Add the coconut easily.
  3. Grease the oven mold with butter and put the solution with a spoon.
  4. Bake in the oven until the cookies dry and change their colors a little bit.
  5. Immediately release from the oven mold.

 

Passover foods recipes - Passover cake

Materials

Preparations

6 eggs
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of matzah flour
80 gram of raisins
80 gram of almonds
3 spoons of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 and 1/4 cups of water

  1. Spread the eggs.
  2. Beat the eggs whites.
  3. Add sugar gradually and then the eggs yellows.
  4. With wooden spoon add the matzah flour, the raisins and the almonds.
  5. Bake in medium heat.
  6. Meanwhile, boil the water, the honey and the cinnamon.
  7. When the cake is ready, pour it on the cake.
  8. Bake the cake 10 minutes more.

 

Matzoh Brei

Materials

Preparations

2 eggs
1 matzah
3 spoons with milk
Salt
Pepper (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Butter

  1. Beat the eggs with the milk, salt and spices (if desired).
  2. Crumble the matzah into the egg mixture.
  3. Fry in butter like scrambled eggs.
  4. Serve immediately.

 

 

Button and flower

Materials

Palms without kernels
100 gram of big crushed nuts
100 gram of bitter chocolate
2 spoons of water
Big nuts to decorate

  1. Grind the palms and mix them with the crushed nuts.
  2. Make small balls with wet hands.
  3. Dissolve the chocolate with 2 water spoons.
  4. Put the dissolved chocolate on the palms balls.
  5. Decorate every ball with half big nut.
  6. After the chocolate jellifies, enter the balls into paper cups.

 

Matzah chocolate cake

Materials

Preparations

6-8 Matzahs
250 gram Bitter chocolate
1/4 Kiddush glass of wine
1/4 Glass of water

  1. Dissolve the chocolate.
  2. Mix the wine and the water.
  3. Immerse the matzah with half of the liquids.
  4. Mix the rest of the liquid with the chocolate..
  5. Make layers of Matzahs and chocolate between them.
  6. Put the rest of the chocolate on the top and the other sides.
  7. Decorate with nuts, cherry and coconut.

 

Kneidlach

Materials

Preparations

1 Glass of boiled water
1/2 Glass of small pieces crumbled matzahs
3 Teeth of crushed garlic.
3 Eggs
1 Onion
Little matzah flour, salt and pepper

  1. Immerse the matzah pieces with hot water for 5 minutes.
  2. Brake the eggs.
  3. Take all the water from the matzah pieces.
  4. Immerse the wet matzah pieces with the rest of the components.
  5. Boil water with salt in a big pot.
  6. Role the mixture into small balls and through them into the boiled water..
  7. When the balls will become swollen they are ready.
  8. Leave them in the boiled water for 5 more minutes and serve them in a soup.
