The Start of Judaism. Abram. Moshe

10 generations after Noah, the man that survived the deluge, Abram was chosen by God to be the father of new spiritual human way. This is the start of Judaism. Just like with Noah, God bless Abram that his descendants will grow and multiply.

Abram was the first man to clame war on multiple idols. He was the first to declare the existence of one god, which created the sky and the earth. We assume that his struggle to rule the belief in one god was not easy. It seems that he had to work hard to convince his generation with his new superior religious idea.

Abram was born around 2000 BCE and married Saray. Her name was changed later to Sara. When his father died, he went to Canaan. On his way to Canaan he saw God and God promised him and his descendants to rule Canaan. This was the start of Judaism.

When he was 86, Egyptian woman, Hagar give birth to his first child - Ishmael. His wife, Saray couldn't give breath. Abram was very sad. So God made an agreement with Abram and promised to help him with Saray. Abram changed his name to Abraham and his wife name to Sara. He circumcised very male in his house as God told him. After a while Sara gave birth to Isaac.

God tested Abraham 10 times. Abraham passed every test. After every test God promised him again or did something for him. The tests went from first easy test to the most hard test. In his last test, God asked Abraham to kill Isaac. Abraham took Isaac and tried to do it. But God stopped him in the last moment and blessed him for his loyalty.

Abraham was the start of Judaism - the start of the believe in one God. But Moshe, was the saint that took out Israel people from Egypt and the one that established Judaism rules.

Moshe was born 1392 BCE in Egypt when Israel people worked hard and suffered from edicts. Moshe was raised by Pharaoh daughter. She found him in a basket on the Nile river. He was raised as a prince but he knew that he was from the Israel people.

One day he saw Egypt guardian hitting one of the Israel people. He killed the guardian and run away to Sinai. He was married there and live there years. One day he saw a fire and God asked him to go and help Israel people. After 10 God hits on Egypt people, Israel people exit Egypt.

Moshe leaded Israel people in Sinai. When they arrived to Sinai mountain, Moshe went up the mountain for 40 days and brought with him the 10 commandments carved in a 2 stone boards. These were the rules for Israel people. But the first time he went down from the mountain, he saw that some of the Israel people made gold calf and prayed for it. He broke the 2 stones and commanded to kill the gold calf people. He prayed to God forgiveness. Only then he went up to the mountain again, for 40 days and went down again with the 2 stone boards and the commandments.

This event symbol the start of a structured religion The Jews, under God's guidance became a powerful people. They concurred Canaan people.  They ruled Canaan with kings such as Saul, David, and Solomon, who built the first great temple. After hundreds years, Israel people exiled from Canaan but never stop thinking of coming back to their homeland which is now called Israel.
